One to One Personal Training

In terms of effective and bespoke training that produces long-lasting results, there really is no comparison to working 1:1 with a PT. I provide all my clients with a structured training routine and nutrition advice. I work mainly out of my private studio gym based in Spencers Wood (a 15-minute drive from the centre of Reading) and also offer a mobile service for clients who prefer the convenience of working out from home.

One to One Online Training

Having opened up this option from March 2020, I am overwhelmed with the results and enthusiasm from my clients who have been opting in for this. Kilograms lost, muscle gained, waistlines diminished and an approach to healthy eating that has gone on to benefit the entire household; my online clients have really made some amazing progress throughout the lockdown period of this year. I can offer these services as a personal trainer through Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp, it is so convenient and accessible. I am currently offering reduced rates for online training which will continue until January 2021!

Small-Group Personal Training

Sometimes, it’s nice to be able to bring a friend to share the pain, right?! I offer 2:1 or small group training sessions if you would like to train with a friend or other half. This can also be a cost-effective option for some instead of a personal trainer option and it also has the added benefit of being more bespoke and focussed than a large class. It can also add a social element that many of my clients find motivational!

About Me

My initial background in training came from my love for athletics, long-distance running and mixed discipline events such as duathlon and triathlon. Then, when I started University I began lifting weights at my local gym and began to see gains in strength, body composition and a noticeable improvement in terms of injuries and recovery rate in my other sports. After a year I was a convert and since then have improved my training knowledge year on year, in and outside of the gym environment.

Having left University, I decided to turn my passion into a career so took my Personal Trainer qualifications. I have now been full -time training clients for 7 years and it is the most rewarding experience. The best part of my job as a Personal Trainer is seeing my clients’ hard work pay off and helping them to achieve a fitter and healthier lifestyle. Not only seeing short term goals achieved but also instilling an enthusiasm to maintain their health and fitness for life and all the positive mental benefits that come with it.
